The POP method will download your emails from your Exchange server to your computer, but once it is downloaded, the server will delete your emails, and you have to use the same device to access the downloaded emails.

- Enable anti-spam agents on a mailbox server if your business doesn’t have an Edge Transport server. The sender filter agent, sender ID agent, and Content filter agent are the order of agents based on default priority and SMTP events where these agents are registered.
- Edge Transport servers would automatically enable and install anti-spam agents by default. But some agents are only available on Edge Transport servers, such as the Connection filtering agent, Recipient Filter agent, and Attachment Filtering agent.
- Continue to monitor anti-spam and anti-malware features. Start with a default setting to minimize the false positive’s number. And then, you could customize your setting based on the type of spam and attacks.
